PLC and Remote Controlling

The acronym PLC stands for Programmable Logic Controller. It is an electronic calculator for technical use.
PLC is the brain of the Varimatik. It is capable of monitoring all parameters of the system and reacting in a way that guarantees optimal functioning.

Temperature Control
Fluid temperature is the main parameter for regulating the system. Based on signals from the temperature probe, PLC directs the inverter and eventually the compressor case controls of functioning parameters.
The PLC controls not only the temperature of exiting fluids: the global vision of the machine is furnished with 30 or more probes and sensors among which:

  • a pressure probe on all sides of the circuit
  • oil temperature probe for compressor performance, etc
  • probe that detects the concentration of ammonia in the air as well as air temperature
  • Intervention for optimal functioning

The PLC is able to manage different levels of malfunctioning of the machine.
If the machine isn’t able to self-correct the problem, it may request the intervention of an operator through a liquid crystal display, while in case of a malfunction, via modem, the offices of Zudek are alerted.

Memory of stored data
The PLC conserves traces of the data of functioning and all anomalies. This way it is possible to verify the efficiency of the system at any time.

Remote Connection
The PLC is able to connect via modem to the central office to signal the necessity for maintenance. The connection can also be activated from the main headquarters, to effectuate corrections.
